When the Common Core standards were first announced and many states began to adopt them, we wanted to be sure we really understood them. We found lots of good resources but still had questions. After talking to lots of teachers, we found out that we weren’t the only ones!

So Sal sat down with Bill McCallum, a lead author of the Common Core standards, to learn more. We filmed these casual conversations and have turned them into a new resource we hope will help demystify the Common Core:
