Why is Algebra confusing?
Many children dread Algebra. It conjures up in their minds something mystifying that no one understands. In some cases this comes from the experience of siblings or parents. In other cases it occurs the second they open the Maths book and encounter the word Algebra for the first time.
So why has Algebra got such a bad reputation?
The main culprit is the lack of understanding of the words used in Algebra
Let’s look at some of the terms used.

Algebra is a branch of mathematics that deals with the general statements of relations, utilizing letters and other symbols to represent specific sets of numbers, values, vectors.
